I bought a Balsam Fir 3 years and 4 days ago. First 2 Christmas's I had no problems.

Last year when I set it up 1/2 the lights were. I called Custormer Service and they helped troubleshoot, finally determined that they would send 5 new strings of lights and that I could restring the tree. After many hours I completed and everything worked great! This year I had the same issue, and when I called I got a recording to use the "Live Chat".

This time there was no troubleshooting help, but I was told the light warranty is 3 years and there was nothing they could do! Mind you the warranty period was only 4 days past!!! The issue is that they use POOR quality lights and 1 bad bulb can cause the entire string to go out! The only solution is to start at the beginning of the string and replace one bulb at a time with a good bulb until the string lights.

This will take several hours per section! TERRIBLE quality and worse Customer Service

WE ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM..POOR LIGHTS...WE HAVE HAD OUR 3 YEARS AND AGAIN THIS YEAR A PORTION OF THE LIGHTS DO NOT COME ON..SO ANNOYED WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER BALSAM HILL TREE....THEY WERE OF LITTLE HELP LAST YEAR..WHEN THIS ISSUE HAPPENED...OUT OF NO WHERE THE LIGHTS CAM ON LAST YEAR BUT NOT THIS YEAR.
