Balsam Hill - Absolutely Horrible Customer Service
I purchased a 9 ft tree from Balsam Hill. It arrived quickly, setup was easy, and the tree is beautiful.
After that experience, I decided to purchase a wreath as well. On the day it should have been delivered, I went online to check my order status to find that although I was charged for the wreath, Balsam Hill cancelled the shipment.?! When I called customer service, the representative acted like he could care less about my issue. I was told that the order processing team would look into why my shipment was cancelled and someone would reply to me via email in 24-48 hours.
After 3 days with no reply, I called again. This rep could still not explain why my shipment was cancelled. I was told that another order would be placed and that I would receive an email with the new order and tracking information. After 2 more days I still had not received an email or a response from the Order processing team!
I contacted them yet AGAIN and received the same false promises. It is absurd to me that the customer service department cares so little about their paying customers! Finally I was told that they had given me the incorrect tracking number, and I was provided with a link to the 'correct' tracking number, which stated that my package had in fact been delivered; at which point I was told to take up my issue with FedEx!!!!! I'm just sorry I had already spent over $1200 with a company that could truly care LESS for their customers!
Lesson Learned. I just hope potential future customers really do their homework before ever purchasing with Balsam Hill.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $159.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
