I'm going to keep it simple we purchased the Aspen Estate Fir, the most expensive tree. Received it in two damaged boxes. Tree looks like it has been received by someone else, returned and sold again to me! We fought the battle and lost and we're stuck with a $1400 tree. Two sections of lights did not work. Received Tree with greased (black) and scratched remote (see photos), top two sections had been crushed to pack. None of the Clear and Colored lights worked. I called customer service. They said I would have emailed ship ticket for my RMA no later than next day. No RMA, called again, they now want me to unpack, set up and plug in to prove lights don't work? I just got off the phone with Balsam Hill and even though it was obvious they never shipped my tree, they said they have to create a case to see why it didn't ship and in the meantime will not send me a tree. I have already paid for this tree and the the Fed Ex Tracking number verified they only shipped the garland. They just keep saying there is nothing they can do until they review the case.... I had the same experience. Received my beautiful (beauty in the eye of the beholder) new pre-lit tree from Balsam Hill on Monday. The top section of the tree does not work and customer service seems completely unable to help! What I thought was going to be a great experience, has turned into a nightmare. Apparently the warranty depaertment is now handling my case... but is unable to provide... Read more

We received our tree last night, assembled it today. The middle section did not light up. Went through the trouble shooting process with no fix and called customer service. They stated they could not do anything about it tonight, but would have the warranty department call us tomorrow. Bought a very expensive 10 foot tree from Balsam Hill prior to last Christmas. It had defective lights in one of the five sections. The company replaced the section - but not until after Christmas so our tree was less than stellar. First of all, their products are grossly over priced and are not even that nice. I order a Christmas tree and a tree skirt. I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased my tree. I thought from their add they would have nice tree's, NOT !!! I got the Blue Spruce and it is so ugly. Not full at all and so many cords to have to plug in to one another. I am not happy with this tree at all. Tree was purchased in 2012 just before Christmas.
